The
Acton Carnival consists of a massive procession down the Acton High
Street and a vibrant festival in the Acton Park. It takes place in
the West London borough of Ealing every July.
Set up by the Acton Community Forum, it is the biggest community-led
event in the borough and the largest carnival after Notting Hill.
The carnival reflects all of our cultural
communities and involves people of all ages and all walks of life.
In 2006, it attracted 12,000 people. |

More than 30 groups and 800 individuals are involved in the procession,
including contributions from Eastern European, Asian, Middle Eastern,
